Dear friends,
We hope you had a wonderful summer with your family and friends and are doing well. We apologize for the delay in reaching out. Over the past four years, our team has accomplished so much together, supporting our community in developing the skills needed to integrate socially and economically. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to the Core Team for their commitment and efforts. We also extend our gratitude to all the participants and facilitators who have helped build this strong community founded on trust and collaboration. Beyond being a space to practice English, we’ve created a place where many have found support and friendship. None of this would have been possible without each one of you.
Like many organizations, we are evolving. We are incredibly proud to see so many of you—facilitators and participants alike—moving forward, achieving your goals, connecting with new opportunities, and continuing to pursue your dreams. These years of work have taught us valuable lessons, and as we look toward the future, we want to take a moment to pause, reflect on our accomplishments, and think about how we can build on our success.
While we are taking a break and will not be holding a Fall Cycle, we have also been working on a team transition, especially as many of us—Yushan and Karen included—are at different stages in our lives. As part of these transition efforts, we aim to bring in more individuals who have embrace the mission of Let’s Talk Philly wholeheartedly and are committed to continuing our positive impact to help us achieve new goals and exciting goals.
